Yes, when the slab is ground and the coating is built to the right thickness. We spec a heavier build in traffic lanes and loading areas where the wear is. Coated floors carry a 10-year warranty.
Yes. Kitchens get a chemical-resistant system that takes hot water, grease and daily degreaser, with cove base so there is no seam at the wall to trap water.
We grind the old coating, paint or glue off down to clean concrete first. Coating over a failing floor just moves the failure up a layer.
