Coatings fail at the prep, never at the topcoat. Acid etching, a rented buffer or nothing at all leaves a slab that a coating cannot bond to. Diamond grinding opens the concrete, takes off old paint, sealer and failed epoxy, flattens high spots and leaves the profile a coating actually grips. It is the step we spend the most time on, and it is why our floors stay down.
We grind as a service on its own, too: removing a failed box-store epoxy before a new floor, flattening a slab for tile or LVP, taking mastic and glue off a commercial floor, or grinding trip hazards and high joints flush. Cracks, pits, spalls and control joints get repaired and ground flush so nothing telegraphs through whatever goes on top.

Our grinders run on dust extraction, so the house or building stays workable. There is always some dust at the edges; we clean up.
